"Holding His Own" — Sailor the Morkie’s Journey with Collapsing Trachea

So far our little Morkie Sailor is holding his own with the help of the Trachea Support, I have tried 2 different formula's and the 1st one seemed to help him the most so we just placed another order for that one again. We also did the Hound Paw Honey® which he seemed to like as well and laps it right out of the little cup I put it in for him, the other 2 dogs we have are jealous as they seem to want the special treat too so I let them lick the empty dish. Sailor has always had a little whiz but now he snores very loud at night when he breaths in, but once he gets in a good spot and his breathing relaxes he quiets down. I have hopes that this formula will continue to help him as he is not as active as he use to be & has put on some weight which is not good for his condition but with the new diet we are trying and some exercise hopefully that will not be an issue. As for the weight and the loud "snoring" sound, a new diet and gentle exercise are excellent steps. Carrying extra weight can certainly exacerbate respiratory issues, so you are on the right track.
