"Slow and Steady Reduction of Instability and Pain" for Senior Lab

Monday, January 26, 2026

The image is of my 10+ year old Black Lab, Tuck. He's a chonk and the most food-motivated dog I've ever had. While we have slowly been getting weight down, he's developed arthritis in all extremities and most likely his lower back. He's been having a hard time getting up from a prone position. We are 1 bottle each into 'Back-Hip Joint Support and Hind-Leg Support' and are seeing a slow and steady reduction of his instability and pain. Very happy so far.

PawHealer's Response:

Julie, we absolutely love Tuck! Being a "chonk" and food-motivated is practically a job requirement for a Black Lab. We know how hard it is to manage weight loss when arthritis makes movement difficult—it becomes a vicious cycle.

It is wonderful to hear that you are seeing a "slow and steady reduction" in his instability and pain after just one bottle. Getting up from a prone position is often the hardest move for seniors with back and hip issues, so that progress is significant. Thank you for being patient and consistent with his regimen—slow and steady wins the race!

To our visitors: Arthritis in all extremities can make it hard for a dog to move and lose weight. See the combination helping Tuck regain stability.
