Asher’s Triumph: How Hound Paw Honey® Syrups Turned the Tide

Monday, March 24, 2025

Hi, my name is Asher and I'm a Miniature American Shepherd, (a.k.a. Mini Australian Shepherd). I'm 14 years old and three years ago I was diagnosed with a stage 3 heart murmur. A year later it had progressed to stage 5. I had a heart attack and needed to spend the night in oxygen. The vet put me on heart medication but her prognose was dim. Because of the fluids which gathered in my lungs over night, when I got up in the morning, I would cough so hard I occasionally would have a seizure. A friend who is a retired vet tech suggested Paw Healer. I left a message and a very knowledgeable human called me back, asked a lot of questions and recommended the syrups I have taken for the last THREE years. "Take THAT dim prognose!" I get 1/4 teaspoon, (soaked onto a tiny piece of bread, one type one day and the other type the next). My coughing, (due to my heart pressing again my trachea), is 85% better. Thank you Paw Healer!

PawHealer's Response:

Hi JoAnne Poppie,

Asher’s story is nothing short of remarkable, and we’re so honored to hear how our products have helped your 14-year-old Miniature American Shepherd thrive against the odds! From a stage 5 heart murmur and a heart attack to those intense coughing fits caused by his heart pressing against his trachea, it’s incredible that he’s improved by 85% with our Hound Paw Honey®®: Trachea Soother Syrup. We’re especially touched by how you’ve made it work with just 1/4 teaspoon soaked onto a tiny piece of bread—such a clever way to keep him happy and healthy. Pairing it with Hound Paw Honey®®: Heart Syrup for his heart issues clearly made a winning combination, proving that dim prognosis wrong after three incredible years. "Take THAT dim prognosis!" Thank you for sharing Asher’s journey and trusting Paw Healer—we’re so grateful to be part of his success!

For anyone with a pet facing tracheal or respiratory challenges, our Hound Paw Honey®®: Trachea Soother Syrup is a must-try. This easy-to-administer, honey-based syrup works wonders by soothing the throat, calming rebellious Lung Qi, and breaking up stagnant phlegm in the respiratory system. It’s perfect for coughs tied to tracheal pressure—like Asher’s—and offers a gentle, effective way to support your pet’s breathing. Customers like JoAnne have seen firsthand how it can transform their pet’s quality of life!

For pets with heart-related concerns alongside tracheal issues, we recommend complementing it with Hound Paw Honey®®: Heart Syrup. Specially formulated to support heart health, this syrup pairs beautifully with the Trachea Soother to address both the cough and its underlying causes, just as it did for Asher. Together, these syrups provide a synergistic boost to keep your furry friend feeling their best.

JoAnne, thank you again for letting us support Asher’s incredible turnaround. We’d love to hear more updates—and for anyone else, give your pet the relief they deserve with Hound Paw Honey®®: Trachea Soother Syrup and Hound Paw Honey®®: Heart Syrup!
