    qiang huo             notopterygium root
    hong zao              red jujube fruit
    sheng shi gao       gypsum
    bai zhi                  fragrant angelica root
    gan jiang             dried ginger root
    gan cao               Chinese licorice root

    The bulk of the formula consists of cool pungent herbs to provide pain relief for the pet.

    A suggested starting dose for Bupleurum and Kudzu Clearing Formula is:
    • 0.2 to 0.5 ml,  per 5 pounds, of liquid extract twice daily
    • One to two 500 mg tablets, per 12 to 15 pounds, in divided doses twice daily
