From the perspective coming from a company that sells herbal formulas we always get a little frustrated with this question. Of course they may be effective for your pet, however there is never 100% certainty for positive results. This is because every cat, dog and person is different and the degree of disease progression does impact the outcome.
Furthermore, what your pet eats can make the difference between getting better or not. It is our experience that thorough proper diet and supplements pet's improve dramatically.
Without a doubt Chinese herbs have shown to be very beneficial for our pets, however herbal remedies are not approved by the FDA, and they do not cure or prevent disease.
For some reason we have lost our ability to be rational with respect to herbal remedies. As a company we wouldn't offer herbs that can't help, however it would be foolish to claim that they work 100% of the time, that's not logical right? If any company making this claim, buyer beware, because we all know that nothing is a sure thing in the terms of disease.
We can say they really do help support a dogs health naturally. We could not stay in business if we did not have happy customers.
Also, something that we hope each customers understands when using our herbal products is that we do not treat diseases. We are proud to say that all of our herbal formulas are created using the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory, which is all about balancing Yin and Yang.
We asked that all customers tell their veterinarian about herbal usage and we hope that between TCM and the resources of western medicine, your dog or cat, becomes healthily. There is no right way or wrong way, it's all about using the tools that work for you and your pet.
